Tension
Tension describes the pulling force of each end of an object (like a string or a rope). In physics, the harder you pull on the object, the better chance of you getting the rope. Tension is the opposite of compression, where instead of pushing the rope, you're pulling on it.
In mathematical terms, here's an equation: F equals the force (N), m equals the mass (kg), and a equals the acceleration (m/s^2)
